Hello, I'm Jonathan and having grown up around dogs (and cats) all my life, some people consider me to be a bit of a pet whisperer... although the cats never listened! También hablo un poco de español, por lo que nunca habrá problemas con la comunicación y le garantizo que su mascota tendrá una estadÃa fantástica en mi hogar. I work from my home in Sotogrande Alto where we have two small gardens for your dog to enjoy the sun or shade but never get lost or forgotten and we have beautiful forest walks nearby for your dog to enjoy. An architect by day and a trail runner by heart, your furry friend(s) will be in safe hands and treated with all the care and attention they deserve when they stay with my partner and I. We have our own black Labrador who we raised as a puppy so we understand how important they are to you and will provide regular updates and pictures to give you peace of mind. Your dog will be the center of attention during their stay and usually come back exhausted having spent their weekend exploring and playing (should they fancy it!). If they just want to chill, We are happy to do that too! Let me know if you need a hand. I have had some great experiences so far with a variety of pups including huskies, spaniels, labradoodles, terriers, Dalmations, daschunds, and even a newfoundland and I'm pleased to say they are all repeat customers. We were vey lucky when we found Johnathan. Our two Dalmatian’s, whilst lovely are full on and demand a lot of attention, Johnathan looked after them so well, I was surprised that they wanted to come home. We wouldn’t hesitate to book him again!

I have two gardens, one is in the sun and one in the shade so your dog can choose where to be but can’t ever escape. We also have a Labrador who is very gentle and sensitive but also likes to play if your dog does too! usually your dog will sit with me in my office whilst I work and then we go for walks together in he morning, lunch time and at dinner if they need. ES: Tengo dos jardines, uno está al sol y otro a la sombra para que tu perro pueda elegir dónde estar pero nunca escapar. ¡También tenemos un labrador que es muy gentil y sensible, pero también le gusta jugar si su perro también lo hace! por lo general, su perro se sienta conmigo en mi oficina mientras trabajo y luego salimos a caminar juntos por la mañana, a la hora del almuerzo y en la cena si lo necesitan.

I usually like to meet a dog before we take care of it if possible to make sure my dog and yours can be best friends but in general it’s good to know if your dog has any allergies or problems, if it can be walked off the lead for example. We can always accommodate most types of dogs and always find a way to make it work for you and your dog will always be happy ES: Por lo general, me gusta conocer a un perro antes de cuidarlo, si es posible para asegurarme de que mi perro y el tuyo puedan ser los mejores amigos, pero en general es bueno saber si tu perro tiene alergias o problemas, si se le puede quitar la correa. por ejemplo. Siempre podemos acomodar a la mayorÃa de los tipos de perros y siempre encontrar una manera de hacer que funcione para usted y su perro siempre estará feliz.
A typical day
Usually we will play in the garden first thing and then we will go for a walk in the forest nearby which is a nice 20 minute hike in the shade. Usually we do this again in the evening but if your dog is super active (like my Labrador) there is a private park nearby that I take my dog to and play with the ball to make sure they are tired. We usually just let them sleep during the day when it is hot but in the winter we can do lunchtime walks aswell! ES: Por lo general, jugaremos en el jardÃn a primera hora de la mañana y luego daremos un paseo por el bosque cercano, que es un agradable paseo de 20 minutos a la sombra. Por lo general, hacemos esto nuevamente por la noche, pero si su perro es muy activo (como mi laboratorio), hay un parque privado cerca al que llevo a mi perro y juego a la pelota para asegurarme de que esté cansado. Por lo general, los dejamos dormir durante el dÃa cuando hace calor, ¡pero en invierno también podemos salir a caminar a la hora del almuerzo!
