I’m the Dog whisperer/dog dad

Pet care experience

I’ve taken care of my own dogs (basset hound/ Great Dane) for 5 years now, as well as my in laws sit on occasion. I’ve watched my family’s dogs and rescued a few scared pups off the highway and some that have strayed into my yard. I love to take long walks daily so walking a dog isn’t any problems for me, or getting pets to eat. I’m good with giving pets meds and baths if necessary.

My dogs love to play with him and get very excited for their walks. He is good with large dogs which is a plus for us since not a lot of people can handle large breeds

Safety, trust & environment

In my home my pets are let out to potty 20-30 minutes after they eat. I take my dogs on walks around the neighborhood to get them more comfortable with people, and to get their exercise and energy out in a productive way. I always make sure the floors are clear of things that a curious pup or adult dog might see as a chew toy so there’s no possibility of choking. I carry water on longer walks for my pets so I can do the same for yours should you wish it. Anything else that might be specific to your pet I’d love to learn it to make sure I customize my care to them and for you to be sure I’m giving them the upmost care they deserve.

Information Jonathan G. would like to know about your pet

To me I would need to be informed of the dogs habits, medical needs if any, and anything I should be on alert for. If the dog is safe for walks, if it’s aggressive at all towards kids or other pets. I’d need to know what treats are acceptable to give for good behavior, and how often potty time is needed. What the feeding schedule is like and how often they need to go out after eating. What their favorite toys might be or if there’s a spot they love to walk to or one you prefer me to take them to visit. When bed time is and if there’s kennels they’re left in or if they’re left outside or even inside when I leave. All these things are need to know for me.

A typical day

Typical day for me and my pets is, wake up and out for a potty break. Then breakfast and a 20-30 minute walk around the neighborhood, and back home for some water, and AC time. They typically lounge around and play catch in the back yard with chasing a ball that I throw to them. Often when inside on bad weather days it’s tug of war with rope or safe toys they find stimulating. Around 7pm we do dinner for them and 30 minutes later we have a potty break, some more relax time and then one final potty break before it’s bed time.
