I have a lifelong passion for dogs and cats - I've been caring for them since childhood and have experience with puppies, high energy adolescent dogs, and mellow seniors. As a current golden-doodle owner, I understand the needs of high maintenance coats and make sure to brush and clean paws after walks and hikes. Additionally, I have experience with potty training and basic obedience from working with my own puppies. Things like crate training, leash manners, and solving problems like jumping or nipping come naturally to me. For senior dogs, I take extra care by assisting with stairs, providing soft beds, and giving relaxing head scratches 💆🏼♀️. I love enriching dogs' lives by taking them on engaging walks, runs, or trips to the dog beach and park. I'll make sure your dog gets plenty of playtime and affection. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with a fenced-in backyard that's perfect for playtime. There's also an excellent dog park just a short walk away. With my own golden-doodle, my home is already dog-proofed with secure doors, pet-safe plants, and durable chew toys. For visits to client's homes, I come with dog walking gear like leashes and waste bags. I'm vigilant about latched gates, cleaning paws post-walk, and following all instructions to ensure the safety of both house and pet. As a driver, I have a roomy, pet-friendly vehicle to transport dogs for walks, daycare, or vet visits. Seat belts, elevated seats, water bowls and spill-proof mats are options to keep them comfy and secure en route. No matter if I'm caring for a pet in my home or yours, safety is my top priority. Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What's the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
A typical day with me involves engaging walks, playtime, naps, and lots of affection. I'll start the day by picking up your dog for an energetic morning walk around the neighborhood or at a nearby park (we love Doyle Park @ UTC). After some water and a snack, we'll head back home to play and rest. In the afternoon, we'll go for another round of walks depending on your dog's exercise needs. Back home, I have an array of toys for playtime - balls, ropes, chew toys - to keep your pup mentally and physically stimulated. My favorite walking spots include Del Mar dog beach, Doyle Park, and UCSD. But I'm happy to take your dog to their favorite local spots too! With me, your pet will stay active, socialized, and above all, happy.

Availability
As an entrepreneur building a new veterinarian app, I have a flexible work schedule that easily accommodates pet care. I also DJ occasionally during evenings and weekends. However, my days are wide open - I'd love to fill them with dog walking, visits to the park, or having your pup over to play! Even when I do have app development or DJ gigs scheduled, I can provide midday dog walks, visits, pick-ups/drop-offs, and overnight stays. I'm available for daily dog walking or check-ins, weekend visits when you're out of town, and emergency pet sitting. My flexible schedule means I can adapt to the needs of you and your pets.
