Recently moved to clearwater for 6 years I used to work as a Kennel Attendant, and Groomer's Assistant. Supervising and cleaning up after dogs big and small, While I know the job can sometimes be challenging, I also know how rewarding it can be. I walk daily on my own so exercise and being active would be no problem to incorporate, I have experience working with even the biggest of dogs and letting them know who's Alpha. I am sensitive to dogs needs regarding hot pavement, and would work to do my best to keep them in shaded or softer areas for walking. Since I worked as an attendant and bather, a simple bath and brush would be easy to arrange if shampoo and towels are available and your pet feels safe having a stranger do it. I would love being able to provide that little extra to make your dog feel like a personal client and special friend.

I have a very very nice dog named Angus who would love a friend to hang out with, we have an outdoor porch, and I stay close by, playing with toys between chores or cuddling while watching a movie. There are also parks around if you feel comfortable having your pup come with me on a longer walk or to socialize with others. I am looking for more even tempered dogs to host as my apartment complex has thin walls, so less barking would be ideal, but good playful energy is welcomed if they get along with others.
Information Jonathan B. would like to know about your pet
Mostly just aggression level, or any sort of things to be wary of ( if they like to pull their leash, are prone to potty accidents etc) So that I can be aware and adjust our time together. If housesitting Location of items like leash, poo bags, and anything you think they might need would be helpful to save me the time of having to text you to ask.
A typical day
Upon arranging to be your dog care provider I would see if there are any special spots your dog enjoys going, I am learning the area but love finding new spots areas like parks, and places close to your house we can walk together as I learn your dog's temperament. I am also a fan of tug o war, and games like fetch or so finding an area where that can happen would be ideal if we worked that out. If your pup is a little more inside or low energy. I can definitely scale that down to throwing the ball across the room, or even just snuggles or company. My dog Angus is a very quiet but playful pup who will likely play with toys with your pup or just go take a nap with him if they get along.

I work a rather unpredictable schedule, but often have off weekends, where I'm home almost the entirety of the day if you check with me I can best let you know if I can host your pup.
