Pet care experience
I will be unavailable most of the summer. I have an opportunity for a 90 day contract. I am a dog lover, have had dogs most of my life and found that dogs offer fulfillment to my being. I am recently retired and want to fill available time with things I enjoy and I do enjoy dogs. I am starting with smaller dogs but will branch into larger dog's when I get some more recent experience with them. Will also be willing to care for dogs in my home after i get to know them a bit. I have always loved my relationships with dogs, we develop mutual respect relatively quickly. The idea of caring for dogs while their families are temporarily away appeals to me as I know that being in a kennel or a strangers home can be traumatic and cause abandonment anxiety. Come on, dogs are people too. Let's make this vacation fun for the furry kids too.

Once again, Jon did a great job with our pups. Very communicative and always very dependable with picture updates. It is very comforting to have someone we know we can count on and trust to take care of our babies.
Jon was fantastic!! He has grown up with dogs all his life, and has a real passion and love for all things k-9. He was very communicative, and sent pictures and updates every day. To top it off, the dogs were even better behaved when we got home! He elevates dog sitting to an art form, and you can tell right away that his number one concern is the health and well-being of your pups. We couldn't have asked for a better doggie companion than Jon while we were away for a long trip during the holidays. We will be using him again and recommending him to other dog-lovers.
Jonathan worked at my engineering services firm for about 10 years until I retired at the end of 2011. I enjoyed working with him because he was always dependable, took his responsibilities to the clients extremely seriously, and also took appropriate responsibility to inform me of situations which might affect the company. During that time I had a chance to observe Jonathan's care for his pet dogs and I was always impressed by how far he was willing to go to give his pets the best life possible. For instance, Jonathan used a special seat belt to keep his dog safe while riding in the car, and of course he treated his pets like family. I would trust him in any situation and gladly recommend him to anyone seeking a mature, responsible person to help care for their pets.
I've known Jonathan for a number of years. I would definitely say he loves animals more than people. He's been a member of ASPCA along with other organizations that benefit animals. He is very organized and conscientious. He treats all other animals as if they were his own. I can think of no better caregiver for your pets than Jonathan. Sincerely, Tony Moore
