Hello there, I'm a 33 year old professional artist and I'd love to help you take care of your pet sitting/walking needs. I rescued and cared for Maggie a beautiful Walker Hound/Lab mix for 10 years, and Nicky the family Cockapoo for 6 years prior to that. Maggie was a highly active dog who needed a minimum of 1 hour of walking a day. She was also very very strong willed and required that I be very, very consistent with my dog parenting routine. She was a strong puller who was returned to the Humane Society 3 times before we found each other, and was a tough dog to train and care for, but It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Since she passed, there's been a dog sized hole in my heart and this seems like a great way to spend more time around the animals I love so dearly. I know how hard it was to plan trips and such when dog boarding costs are so expensive. I also understand that pets are family and will do everything I can to give yours the care and attention they deserve.

Jonathan was a fantastic boarder! 10/10! This was our first time going away since we rescued our dog, Leia, and he made the process extremely comforting. Leading up to her stay he was in constant contact, diligently making sure he was properly prepared and had everything ready for her. During the stay he kept to Leia’s routine and kept us updated with lots of pictures and stories. Also, the first night she was a little nervous being away from us, (I’ll spare details) but he had to clean up a late night mess, and he handled it like a pro! His house is in a great location, close to lots of parks and walking trails, so he kept her very active. When we picked her up she was happy and healthy, and clearly had become attached to Jonathan and his roommates (and vice versa!). Next time we go out of town, Jonathan is definitely our go-to boarder!

We felt very trusting of Jonathan; he was communicative, sent a ton of pictures, and he was knowledgable about dogs which was reassuring. It didn't hurt that he seemed to truly get along with Hank : ) We'd look to him to watch Hank next time we need a sitter!
Jonathon was responsive, accommodating and everything that i would hope for in a sitter!
