Hey there - I’m Jon! I work from home in a peaceful environment with no kids or roommates. I’m 30 years old, and have been responsible for 2 dogs, Sadie and Rupert, throughout about half of my life. Sadie, a female Labrador, was an amazing family friend. She was my childhood dog, and I brought her to college with me, where she kept me company during all my studies. Sadly, she passed a few years ago. Rupert, a male Dachshund, came about when my neighbor needed a dog sitter. Eventually, my neighbor could no longer take care of him, so I offered to take care of him. Rupert is 8 now, and is my best friend. He has had a couple of surgeries and injuries, and I’ve nursed him through those hard times. He is doing better than ever, and I love him more and more every day. I will treat your pet like they are my own! I can also run with your dog! Rupert is very social and absolutely loves to interact with other dogs. Part of the reason I’m on this app is simply to help him find friends! About me: I am a very strong communicator, e.g. I will respond to messages within 30 minutes. I am also a rule-follower, so I will follow your instructions and treat this like a real job. I am super flexible and will do pretty much anything you ask me to do within reason.
