Pet care experience
I grew up with many cats & dogs on both my mom and dad’s side of the family when I lived in New York. I attended Middle School at the Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation & i also worked at Cibola Buffalo Farms down in Culpeper VA so I’ve been around goats, sheep, buffalos, dogs, cats, geese, turkeys, chickens… you name it haha! I also have experience with caring for senior dogs. I absolutely love animals and I’m grateful to be able to take care of them now that I’m back in Virginia, after living in NYC for a few yrs. Since i’ve been back i’ve been caring for my dad‘s pups and shortly after, my partner started using the Rover platform. Since our neighbors, friends and family have trusted & relied on us to sit, walk, feed, and bathe their pets for a few yrs now, I decided to join Rover & offer my love & care to others’ pets. While house sitting, i’m happy to bring in mail/packages, organize, clean or whatever you may need, just let me know. I look forward to meeting your 🐱 🐶 pets & having a great time together! I would give Jon 20 stars if I could! Jon and his partner provided the best care to my two pups; from multiple daily walks, to special meals, and lots of snuggles and playtime, they have never been so well cared for. They sent photos throughout the day and I could tell my pups were happy and calm. In addition to being amazing and responsive sitters for my pups, they took great care with my home. I was away for a week and my house was cleaner than when I left when I returned! It’s really hard to find reliable, conscientious, considerate, and kind people who you trust to be in your home and Jon and his partner are all of those things and more!
Jon and his girlfriend Leonarda were truly amazing pet sitters! They treated our home and dog like their own. Leonarda took the time to really learn about our dog, his behavior, and everything she needed to do to make our dog comfortable while we were away. Jon was prompt and courteous with all his responses when we were determining which petsitter we were going to use. Together, Jon and Leonarda did an exceptional job, helped fill the void of our dog missing his parents, and left our home in a great condition! We couldn't be happier with everything Jon and Leonarda did. We will definitely be using them in the future. If you need a reliable, trustworthy, and genuine team to sit your pet, rest assured that Jon and Leonarda are the way to go 🐶
Jon was great! Our two dogs loved him and our two cats warmed up to him pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend him and will be booking with him again in the future.
Jon was absolutely amazing with our two dogs over the holidays. He was able to do a meet and greet with us super last minute and was always very flexible. We got daily updates from Jon on how our pups are doing and daily pictures. Even if the dogs had accidents Jon was really good about keeping us updated and also able to help us clean their mess while we were away. He was also able to keep up with our dog’s ear treatment very well. I highly recommend Jon and would definitely book with him in a future!

With me, you can expect your pup to go on trail/park walks as often as needed but, if your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I’m happy to chill on the couch and cuddle up or play at home.

A typical day
I’m happy to go on walks, trails and local dog parks, with your permission, as long as everyone is safe and comfortable. In the backyard i’m always happy to play fetch, catch, tug or whatever your dog may want. I’m usually pretty high energy & can catch me running around with the dogs.

I am an Uber Driver so i have control over my schedule, i can easily log on or off whenever i need to. Which means I have plenty of time to take care of your pets and have more than enough room for play time, cuddles, walks & treats! Although I live in Front Royal, I am constantly in Nova for work & also service a 55 miles radius for house sittings😊
