Yes.. Jon makes for an excellent dog sitter and then some. Some eight or ten years ago when I met up again with Jon (many years after graduation from high school) he was buddied up with an Airdale Terrier he rescued from an animal shelter. At the time Jon was working as the head chef of a quaint little restaurant and receiving a fairly good income. Despite this, about a year later Jon tells me he's leaving the city to find work in a resort town and I suggested to Jon he give away his dog as it would no doubt be a hindrance in that process. To make a long story short, one day I receive an email from Jon from Mazunte (a resort town on the coast of Oaxaca) and to my surprise he had taken his dog with him. Now, I know this because I asked specifically. So that's Jon in a nutshell. I might add that where it concerns Jon's relationship with his dog neither one was extraneous or abstract to the other as they somehow seemed to "fit". You knew where you found one, the other one wasn't far away if not present. An invisible yet no less palpable mutual understanding was at work. Not being a dog person myself (my opinion being that if you can't give a dog a job then don't have it) I do admire Jon having gone the distance with his dog and so yes "obviously" Jon gets my highest endorsement as a qualified and reliable dog sitter.
