Pet care experience
I joined Rover to share my passion for animals! I grew up with animals my whole life, and Rover always me to give back to the animals that make our everyday life better! I am a health and physical education teacher, so along with having summers off, I like to be active and go for walks and/or runs. I am located in Central Lawrenceville which is extremely dog friendly. I live next to trails, dog parks, and plenty of pet-friendly shops.

We’ve worked with Jon twice and he has always taken amazing care of our dog Vinney while we traveled. He’s super easy to work with and was even flexible enough to accommodate Vinney staying an extra night when our flight got delayed. I would highly recommend Jon, 10 out of 10, and I know Vinney feels the same considering how excitedly he ran up to Jon when we dropped him off for his second visit!
Jon is amazing with dogs!! Our puppy absolutely loves to see him whenever he comes over for a walk. He is incredibly communicative and trustworthy. He kept us updated on all the important aspects of the walk with details and pictures. She clearly experiences an incredible amount of love and play while with him. When we were running late he went above and beyond and offered to play longer so that she would not be left alone as long. We will definitely continue to use Jon for daytime walks and overnight stays whenever we need someone to take of our dog.
Jon really helped me with my dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving them with him. I have an elderly dog with anxiety and he did great with Jon! He is very professional and responds right away. I only needed Jon to watch my dogs for a few hours but I would feel comfortable leaving them for a longer boarding period if I needed. Thanks so much for your help Jon!
Jon was a phenomenal sitter over Labor Day weekend for our puppy, Carl. This was the first time Carl had stayed away from home so we were a bit nervous about separation anxiety. Jon kept us updated throughout the day as well as answered all messages very quickly. He even asked what toys Carl liked best to help him feel more at comfortable! When we picked Carl up after the weekend, he seemed like he was right at home with Jon. I will definitely be using Jon's help in the future!

When it comes to communication, I believe in keeping you, the owner, informed and updated. Expect regular updates, photos, and even videos of your beloved pet, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I do not have a yard, but I do have a fenced-in patio. I also live right next to a walking trail that has a dog park attached to it. I allow pets on furniture and beds if that is what they are used to. My bedroom is on the third floor of my house, but the first floor has a large couch that I sleep on if your pet can't make it up the stairs.

In the summer, I am available Monday-Sunday. I am still available during the school year (August 21st - June 1st), but only on the weekends.
