I have never done dog sitter before but we have had dogs for over 20 years. We have a jack russell beagle who is 10 years old. She requires lots of walks so your dog will get a lot of leash time. We have a backyard that is fenced and a small dog door. I will only take one dog at a time and it MUST be house trained. I don't work but obviously will leave for short periods of time and your dog must be o.k to be left alone. We love dogs and your dog will have a great vacation in our dog friendly home. We live in the Friendly Street neighborhood and are centrally located in Eugene. We also have experience with older dogs.

We were visiting in the Eugene area just for the day. We couldn't leave our dog in the car because of higher temps and just needed a safe place for him for about 3 to 4 hours. I found Jolene on Rover and she was available. We couldn't have been happier with finding a safe place for our Pogo to stay for a short bit. They have a sweet terrier of their own and Pogo seemed to take to her right away and love his time there. He didn't even notice when we left, he was having too much fun with their pup. Jolene's place is very clean and tidy with a great fenced back yard. She and her husband are very friendly and personable. I didn't have any worries when I dropped Pogo off - I could tell right away he was in good hands.
Maple, our French Bulldog was well cared for. She got plenty of exercise, and enjoyed the company of the house dog. We are pleased and would use this sitter again.
Jolene was everything I could have hoped for in a pet sitter for Moose. Jolene and her husband, Rob, are clearly animal lover and kind people. They have a clean home that is pet friendly with yard access. Their dog, Gracie, is a fun loving Jack Russell who was great company for Moose. The dogs went on hikes, walks, to parks and played constantly. Moose was very happy when I picked him up and in great spirits. I would definitely recommend Jolene.
I have known Jolene for 10 years. She and I are dog lovers and teaching colleagues. Jolene's furry child is a Jack Russel-Beagle mix named Gracie. Like all youngsters of those two breeds Gracie is a very active handful. Jolene and her husband, Rob, give Gracie plenty of exercise (critical with Jacks) and positive reinforcement and love. Sunday mornings my terrier, Bear, and I wait for Gracie to join us for a day of play and naps; running up and down the stairs and from room to room; then collapsing in a quick nap. Gracie's good upbringing and pleasing personality make her a welcome friend at our house every week.
