Hi I'm Jolene! I have many years of dog experience; with ownership, dog walking, and volunteering at shelters. I LOVE me some doggies, but I'm also very happy to sit your cats, fish, or small critters. I am comfortable with most breeds, both big and small/young and old, but I can be intuitive if I feel a dog needs a little time to warm up to me getting in his/her territory. I can usually sense when a pup needs his space, and loud boys/girls don't bother me at all. I am good with cuddles, belly rubs, medication administration, and baths/brushing. I am responsible and dependable (on time) and very flexible to the needs of your pet(s). l really looking forward to meeting your pup and making sure they're living their best life!!!

This is the 2nd time we’ve had Jolene sit with our precious fur-babies, but I failed to write a review last time for no good reason. So whatever I write here goes twice for Jolene’s service – which is the best! Jolene goes above & beyond above & beyond. LoL! She shows the same level of concern for our cats as if they were her own, and makes every effort to keep us informed on how they’re doing while we’re gone. Jolene happily does the other non-cat sitting chores, like checking the mail and watering our outdoor garden/plants. If you live in Colonial Beach, I highly recommend Jolene for your pet-sitting needs – I’m happy to know we have someone we can count on for those few times we leave our cats for extended periods of time. Thanks a million, Jolene!
Jolene is so wonderful! She went above and beyond caring for our two dogs while we were away for the weekend. When her schedule meant she would have to come early for a dog walk, she came by in the afternoon for another walk just to make sure they would be OK for the long day. This was so appreciated and made it possible for me to relax knowing my babies were well taken care of. Jolene loves our dogs and they love her too! We are so grateful to have found Jolene and I know the pups can’t wait to see her again!
Jolene was amazing! Very friendly and fun. Also very patient with our grumpy senior dog. Good communication the entire time. Highly reccomend!

I double check leashes before walks and will make sure the home is locked up during and after the walk. If there are any obvious accidents I will clean them up before I leave from either a walk or sitting. And I look out for any allergic reactions if a pup decides to eat/ or gets stung by a sky jalapeño (bee/wasp).

If I'm doing a walk I just need to know where the leashes/harnesses are kept and whether your pup is dog-friendly or not. If I'm sitting for you the same as above, but additionally, where the food and any medications are kept.
A typical day
I love taking long walks with dogs, it's good for me and good for them. For safety, they will always be on leash during the walk. They will get to smell the neighborhood and gets some exercise, I always carry poo bags and they'll have a great time. If I'm sitting for you I will see your pet/pets 3 times a day. In the morning, afternoon, and evening. I will keep a feeding schedule or if they're self-feeding I'll make sure the bowl is never empty. I will play, cuddle, and make sure your furry family gets outside to do their business (whether you have a backyard or they need mini walks).

Currently I am super flexible and I can work and be there for your pet on short notice. I have to pups of my own and I haven't had any complaints yet.
