My philosophy is that dogs should enjoy the comforts of home even when they are away from home. No kennels here. If your pup enjoys sleeping in bed with you at home, they will enjoy sleeping in my bed during their vacation with me. I strive to maintain a high standard of care while giving your pup a vacation to remember. I have a HUGE yard for outdoor playtime and relaxing. Your pups will be having so much fun they won't even realize you are away. My home is on a quiet cul de sac across from National Park Land with tons of trails for walking/hiking and tons of open space. Blessed with a coastal climate, we enjoy moderate temperatures all year round with plenty of shade and soft grass to play on. As well as my love for animals I have a passion for cooking,gardening, music and I LOVE the beach. About this sitter: I am a stay at home mom with a passion for pups! Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a love for dogs. I have had many dogs of my own, mostly rescues and I can't imagine a day without spending time with my furry children. As my human children are getting older (1 in college and 1 in middle school) I have more time to dedicate to my business. My family adores having all the dogs come to visit and everyone helps give lots of love and attention to our furry guests. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter and I have provided a foster home for dogs awaiting their forever home. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover since the beginning! Growing up we always had a dog or two and so my love of dogs was born. I can't imagine a day without a slobbery kiss or a tired head in my lap. After volunteering at my local animal shelter for a year, (great learning experience) I found my passion for rescue as well. I also have a super soft spot for senior dogs. I have a very strong work ethic which was ingrained in me at a young age. I began working for my family's business at age twelve. I am extremely responsible and reliable. The majority of my adult career has been in sales, but I transitioned to animal care 9 years ago. I have spent the majority of those 9 years pet sitting and dog walking, but the last 2 years I have been focusing more on boarding and doggy day care. I also love to volunteer where ever I am needed, and in addition to helping out at the local animal shelter, I volunteer for my son's music dept. and for the local Boys Scouts of America. Meet my pets 1 bunny "Sir Winston Churchill" About my yard I have a large 25,000 square foot lot that is completed fenced in. My yard is all grass with a sand play area (for digging and general play) a large stone patio for relaxing and a small fenced in patio as well.
