Jola was amazing! She watched our cat for 7 days at her house. We will use her again!!! It was like dropping your baby off with Grandma 🥹. Call outs: 1. When I reached out to her to get to know her and her services, she offered to invite me over to meet her and see where the kitty would stay. I took her up on it and she was the sweetest person with the perfect space & situation for watching cats. The place had a lot of windows and perches, and she had plenty of toys! Her situation is that she had 2 cats that recently passed away from old age (almost 20 years old!). She is retired but her husband isn't yet, and when he does they plan on traveling the world and don’t think it would be fair to leave a new cat home all the time. She misses the companionship and this is a way of filling the gap by giving other kitties love! 2. We give our cat dry food 2X a day (1/4 cup each) and let her know he is extremely food motivated and is getting a bit overweight. She said that her cats went through something similar until she started doing a combination of leaving dry food out all the time and then getting wet food meals - the cats weight problems went away when they could self regulate what / when they ate. She offered to do that while she watched him to see how he does. We took her up on the offer and brought 1 can to try over the week in combo with his dry food. Seeing a single can of food, She said that she would go to the store and get different varieties for him to try. She must have spent $30+ in cat food and treats and wouldn’t let us pay her back for them. Our cat loved the experience and ate like a king, near the end of his time there he even started to self regulate his meals (something we never thought would happen)! She even gave him ‘treats’ of cooked shrimp or salmon from her meals - she was so caring! 3. She asked if we would enjoy pictures / videos, and if so at what frequency. I said as many and as often as she would like to send them! She sent me 7-15 pictures and videos every day with a summary of how he was doing, what food he liked, and what he did that day. Wow! 4. She saw that our cat liked to watch the squirrels outside the window, so she put out birdseed and breadcrumbs so the squirrels would come by more often. He had the best nature show!! 5. Can’t say enough about how wonderful Jola is!

Jola takes exceptional care of our kitty every time. So grateful to have her as a resource when we go out of town. She sends us pictures and videos daily and clearly take great pride in her work. Thanks Jola
