Hello! I'm Joie & my husband, Jason, and our daughter love dogs, and are excited to be a part of the Rover community. We have had two large breed, mixed dogs of our own who we raised from puppies. Our 10 year old Rottie mix and 14 year old mixed breed passed over the last two years, and while we are not yet ready to open our hearts to another dog of our own we would love to love your pup while you're out of town. Having raised our two dogs from puppies we are well versed in caring for dogs in all life stages, and can relate to how stressful it can be to find someone to care for your 4-legged family members. So, above all, we provide a loving home for your pup while his people are away so that you can feel comfortable on vacation knowing we treat your dogs like our own.

We are so grateful to have found Joie, Jason and their daughter, Nora! They are the sweetest, kindest family and they will truly love your dog like their own. They took such amazing care of our corgi for 5 days and were they were so awesome at giving us updates! We have never left our dog before, so this was a huge deal for us. The entire time our dog was with their family, I knew she was in great hands! Thank you all again so much!!
It was a relief to find Joie, Jason and Nina to care for our two Shiba Inus, Winnie and Rocky! They were given plenty of love, attention and walks throughout their stay and I know how much they loved hanging out in the beautiful backyard. It is such a peaceful feeling knowing that my precious pups are being taken care of just as if they were in their own home. We will certainly book with Joie and Jason again!
Joie and Jason are just the best. I’ve left a review before but I had to leave another. They are so patient and loving with our pup who can be so anxious. We always feel comfortable leaving him with this family and know that he is comfortable too.

We'd love to know what your pup enjoys doing, as well as what their particular personality traits are and if they have any triggers. Please let us know if they are crate trained, and if they have ever boarded in a Rover home before. Also, their favorite places to get scritches!
A typical day
We have multiple parks and trails near our house that we frequent with the pups, and a large yard to play fetch, frisbee or just run around! We do ask for all drop offs to be after 7am and all pick ups before 8pm, and we require a meet and greet with all new families to ensure everyone's comfort.

Availability
We have an ideal set up for dog sitting - Jason and I both work remotely, so we're home with them all day to provide meals, fresh water, exercise & ear scritches! Having a dog door, and large yard they can come and "go" as they please, but we do take at least 1-2 walks per day to burn some energy.
