Hi there! My name is Joia and I am an elementary school teacher in Annapolis. I have a small grey cat who I love dearly! I grew up with dogs and enjoyed taking them out daily to walk together (my family's dogs were a Tibetan terrier and a duck tolling retriever, smart and energetic dogs); but I don't have a dog myself yet. I would love to take your dog out after school for exercise and fresh air for both of us. I am responsible, caring, and experienced with looking after pets. I also can help to reinforce any training you are working on with your pet. I am happy to give you a discount if you are one of my first customers on Rover. I would like to know how your dog responds to other dogs and stimuli while out on a walk. I have no breed preferences-- love all dogs! As a smaller person, I am wary of walking very large dogs (80 lbs +) and would not like to walk them if they have a history of pulling on leashes.
A typical day
We can go on walks in your neighborhood, or explore nearby parks together, like Truxton and Quiet Waters. We can also play fetch if they like to chase balls! I look forward to taking cute pictures of your dog while we play together so that you are updated on how things are going.
