John is my neighbor and I have personally witnessed his kindness to animals. On the Fourth of July he found a gigantic GSD, and took her in, fed her, and cared for her until her owner was located. His kindness and connection to animals was highly apparent. He is good with both large and small dogs. My chihuahuas liked him when he came to my house the next day, and they can be wary of strangers. I plan to hire him to house sit and watch my dogs when I go on vacation, and recommend him for such a position.
