Pet care experience
I’ve had plenty of experience with my own fur babies and always helped take care of friends and family pets when needed. I’m “that person” that drops everything to pet an animal when out on daily activities. I’m a sucker and just have so much love and compassion for animals. I currently do not work and have more than enough time to devote myself to others fur babies while my own fur babies would love to have new playmates. I do like to fish on Sundays and have family time but can try to accommodate if I’m needed. My home is extremely pet friendly with all tile floors, a large fenced in back yard, long bike path right out the front door for great walks (I take mine every week day), good working air conditioning and plenty of safety measures. Smoke alarms in every room, carbon monoxide detectors and active security system, I carry dog bite insurance (just Incase). I have an extra large dog crate in one of the two extra bedrooms which never gets used but have it just Incase. I have four pets of my own (one cat, two large dogs and a little seven pound pup (three rescues and one was a gift)), as well as a daughter who loves animals just as much as myself. I have dog beds, both store bought and home made with plenty of room if your pup wants to bring their own. My pups have so many toys (that I pick up all day long) and love to play with each other and any other pets that come to visit. Our cat pretty much keeps to himself but has no problem being around dogs. When he wants to be alone, he has his own room with a baby gate to prevent any pups from getting to his litter box, food or cat toys. I’m also a member of bark box and have a monthly delivery of new toys and treats to keep both my fur babies and yours happy. I completely understand the struggles us fur parents go through with trying to work or just wanting to take a vacation and I am more then happy to help make it easier for you and your baby. You will find that I am one of the most humble, honest and down to earth person's you can find with a heart so big for animals. They say animals need us, but in my opinion, we are the ones who need them... with that being said, it would be my pleasure to care for your fur baby as my own until you return.

Showed up on time each time, played with my cat and took great pics.
Johnna and I began our meet in greet by talking for an hour about our lives and about how much we both love animals. I immediately felt comfortable with her in my home and with my fur babies. I knew she understood how important pets are. One of my cats had been recently ill and needed daily medication, so I was more anxious than usual about leaving him for a few days. However, after hearing her experience and seeing how comfortable my cats were around her, I felt at ease. During my absence she gave me peace of mind that both my cats were well taken care of. She encouraged them to play and even bought them toys! She took many pictures and I could see that they were relaxed and happy in her company. I love my cats like they are my own children, and Johnna went above and beyond to treat them as her own. ?

Johnna has been amazing! She always gave detailed updates and communication, along with lots of pictures. She is detail oriented and went above and beyond. I did not worry at all with her taking care of my baby. I highly recommend her!

I do have a large fenced in back yard with wooden privacy fence adjacent to the two neighbors who also have dogs so there is no negative interactions with them. The yard is not in the best of shape but does have grass, dirt for digging and in my opinion it’s a dogs yard. I have control of the house and they have control of the yard (I do go out and pick up the poo, debris, do yard maintenance and take care of anything else that may be out there, but it’s theirs to do whatever). They can’t get in trouble for messing it up. In my home, yes it will most likely smell a little like pets live here, not to bad though and you will find pet hair because they live here too. I keep it nice and clean and always prepared as if the mother in law is going to show up (haha) and I just like a clean and tidy home. If a pup makes a mess, well, it’s just part of life with pets. I will clean it up, fix it up and move along. It’s what they do.

I have no preferences as I feel all breeds are equal. I’m so tired of stereo types with animals. I would like to know if your pup has any dog bite history and if they are good around children as I have a daughter. I would also like to know how they are around small dogs. I do have a 7 pound dog that never gets bigger and I would never want to put him in any danger. I’d also need to know that your pup/pups are up to date on shots as well any flea and tick treatments. If any dietary needs, medications or other specifics need to be discussed, I’ll need to be informed as well.
A typical day
He/she/they would have option to relax, play with toys, go for a walk (providing the bike path isn’t to hot for their paw pads) or run around the house/yard with my pups. If needed, I could take your pup to the groomers or vet while your unavailable (provided your payment info and consent is on file with your facility).

Availability
I’m currently available all the time with the exception of the daily drop off and pick up with my daughter at school. If your pup can ride along, then I’m available then also. I do try and set aside Sunday's for fishing/family day however if we can work around that, then I’m here to help. I am very much open to set schedules and/or long term ones. I would love to establish more and more clients whom become family, both the people and fur babies.
