Growing up in Wyoming, close to the mountains, one of my favorite memories was always going out with my dog Pongo on trips to the mountains. It was always a family trip with my parents, brother, and my pup. Growing up, my dad thought that by getting me a dog it would show me how to be responsible and how to really care for someone. For as long as I can remember one of the first things I always did in the morning was feed my puppy and fill up his water bowl. Taking care of my dog is one of greatest impacts on some of the skills I have today. When my first pup Pongo passed on a few years ago it really seemed like a piece of my family was gone. To fill the gap my parents actually got three more dogs which unfortunately I only see 3-4 times a year since I go to college out of state. Just like you need someone to take care of your dog, I am looking to get my dog-fix.
