Pet care experience
My family has had pets since before my time. Always having at least 2 dogs in my house I’ve taken care of puppies, terrible teens, and elder pups. I’ve house sat and taken in many dogs and cats for friends and neighbors, never having an issue or bad experience. I’ve gone through Schutzhund training with my German Shepard. I’ve owned dogs big and small (Pugs-Mastiffs). My main purpose for helping out is I miss my dogs back home want to spend some quality time with some furry friends.

It was a pleasure working with Johnathan. He was very communicative, accommodating, and pleasant. Our home was exactly how we'd left it, and he managed to work our complicated back door with no issues. Most importantly, he took great care of our Leonberger, Maya, for an hour. She was very happy when we came home, which we took as a reflection of the quality time he spent with her in our backyard and in our home. We'd be happy to work with Johnathan again, and hope we get the chance to.
Jonathan was great, friendly and kind. Truman loved him and looked forward to his walks with him. I would definitely use Jonathans services again.
Johnathan has extensive experience caring for pets. As a military dependent, He was commonly asked to provide care, including feeding, exercise, and attention through the day, full time and during deployments. He has also fostered therapy and service puppies. Additionally, he has completed traing with large breeds for obedience, agility and tracking. Bottom line he loves animals.
Johnathan took care of my cat, Luna, for about a week. He was wonderful. He was quick to respond to my messages and proactively gave updates and sent pictures of her. I would absolutely book him again and I highly recommend him!

Most dogs have their own routine and I’m open to how you prefer to take care of your pup. Whether it’s a long intense walk or a nice and easy stroll I’ll follow any instructions you want to relay to make sure they’re getting the care they need.

Please notify me of some habits your dog might have. Such as if they have a fear of something (cars, loud noises, sudden movements) or aggression towards something (other dogs, squirrels, I’ve even met dogs that don’t like people with hats)
A typical day
Walking and exploring the outdoors is a necessity for all dogs. Exploring some trails local to your home would be ideal. Training is also a good way to burn some energy and get some mental exercise for pups. Perhaps if there’s a command or trick you’d like me to work on with your pup we can do that with a walkthrough and some pre-approved treats.

Availability
I work 9am-5pm in Waltham, so I would be available outside those times and pretty flexible on the weekends. I also don’t travel very often for holidays, so those are definitely an option as well!
