Pet care experience
I am a life-long Oklahoma City Metro Area and am an OU Alumnus, where I majored in international studies and law. I believe that animals deserve so much more respect and love than they are given today. I treat my animal friends as I would any of my friends, and have owned 3 dogs over the last 21 years, from puppyhood until their final days. My dogs have included Pembroke Welsh Corgis and a Chihuahua, though I have much experience with large dogs as well. While I hit it off well with pretty much all types of dogs, I quickly develop special relationship with small dogs. I love to take my canine friends for neighborhood walks or walks in the park and to play tug-of-war and fetch with balls and rope toys.

John has been a dog lover from childhood. He has been a loving "pal" to his dog Rusty (now deceased) and to our very hard-to-please Chihuahua, Bitsy. He was one of the few humans Bitsy bonded with. She would snuggle up to him and ignore the rest of us.

I love dogs of all breeds and will walk dogs of all sizes, but I to develop strong relationships especially fast with smaller dogs. Before walking a dog, I like to know about triggers, noises, or other things that have a tendency to frighten the dog or aggravate it. I also like to learn about specific games and activities that the dog specifically enjoys! Also, please inform me of any allergies the dog might have.
A typical day
I will walk dogs around neighborhoods or take them to nearby parks! I especially love the duck pond on the OU campus. I enjoy playing fetch, keepaway, and rope toy tug-of-war with my canine friends!
