Having trained and worked with various breeds of dogs, I cant imagine a life without the joy of having dogs around. Sadly my buddy Diego died last year leaving us without a full time buddy on premises. Basically your dog will have our undivided attention while they stay with us. Shannon and I both work from home which allows for plenty of attention and outside breaks every hour or so. We run an average of 5-10 miles per week which I've found to be the best way to ensure compliance with a dog. Than being said, unless otherwise specified, I'll be inclined to keep any dogs around me fairly busy and active. We adore our canine friends & pride ourselves on treating every dog like our own. That said the best way to ensure your dog is accepted for repeated stays is to bathe and brush your dog before their visit.

John watched our dog for over 2 weeks and was wonderful to work with. He played with and exercised our pup everyday and sent lots of photos and videos. Our dog was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will definitely work with John again!
John was truly amazing with our pups! We did a trial run before leaving them for the longer stay, and just like the first time, John was super friendly, explained everything in detail, made sure he knew what our pups needed, and accommodated special requests from us for the dogs. Part of why we chose John was that he focuses on one client at a time, which was important to us because our dogs are not super socialized. He accommodated oral medication needs and did a great job with special requests around food and exercise. He has a great yard for dogs and takes them on daily walks for exercise. We enjoyed seeing pictures and videos of the dogs on walks, running around the backyard, and in John's home relaxing while he was working. Our dogs were happy and well taken care of, and we won't hesitate to leave them with John in the future.
We decided that having a trial run with our two pups and John was the best route to calm some of our nerves about being worried dog parents. We had not left our pups with anyone in a long time, so wanted to make sure it was a great fit. John was super welcoming, informative, and caring for our dogs. He sent photos and video and kept us updated on how the stay was going. John was comfortable administering an oral medication to one of our pups and was willing to work with us on the best exercise and routine for both our dogs (one of which has some rear leg stiffness when active). I could tell when he said his goodbye to our pups that he really cared and enjoyed them.
John did a great job with our dogs! This was their second visit and they were so excited and happy to see him. That is always a great sign.

We work from home so your dog will be spoiled with affection and allowed to freely roam our fenced and manicured back yard. Generally we take two long walks per day, one in the morning and one in the early evening - and as many backyard visits as needed.
