Pet care experience
Dog's love me I carry beef jerky! LOL I seem to be out at the moment though. I grew up with a cat, but have always been a dog person, all around animal over. At some point the cat became my sister's. My mom now has 2 bichon's. Several roommates over the years have had either cats or dogs. My family are farmers so I am also familiar with larger animals when needed. I am a very reliable and responsible person. I have run my own sub-conctracting business for several years and there are always new pets to introduce yourself to. A neighbor of mine years ago had a cat and when they were away I had to be there to feed, give shots, and then record food and medication given in a book.

John was my roommate for over six months. I have two dogs. Gilligan, a Blue Heeler mix and Ginger, a Lab. Without being asked, John began caring for them as if they were his dogs. This included watering, twice daily feedings, regular potty breaks outside, and a great deal of attention and affection. Ginger literally began to ignore me and behaved as if she belonged to John. I have no doubt she loved him more the me. My dogs are my children in my eyes and that is how much I care for them. I would trust John implicitly with Gilligan and Ginger's safety and well being.
John cared for our 3 cats when we had to go out of town. That included caring for our diabetic cat that had special needs such as morning pills and insulin shots twice a day at specific times. He also took care of the 3 litter boxes and would spend time “playing” with them. I would definitely recommend John as a pet/house sitter as he also took care of our mail as well.
