Pet care experience
My kids and I have had dogs and animals our entire lives. My kids are now adults in their 30's and I happily watch my kid's fur-babies when they are away and I would enjoy taking care of more pets full time. I live near a park and love to take them for walks and spend time with them.

John was great with my dog while I was gone for 10 days. My dog is very skiddish and was quick to warm up and fall in love with John. He has a clean dog friendly house and clearly cares a lot about dogs. Would recommend and will rebook
John was the right choice. Our dog Frida was given lots of care and cuddles while we were gone. Even though she pulled, he took her on lots of walks and made sure she got plenty of exercise. It was also great to hear that John had so much experience with dogs that have anxiety and sometimes dog reactive. We hope to have him watch her again and definitely recommend him for other dog owners.
John was a great sitter for our dog Denver. You can tell he really loves dogs and he has had a lot of experience with them. He sent pics and updates and Denver looked comfortable and relaxed all week. John followed the instructions for Denver’s medicine and even got him some more treats when he ran out. I would definitely have John sit for Denver again.

When at home, we go for walks, play in the fenced in back yard, and play with toys in the house. I am open to boarding, walking, or even house and pet sitting for you during your trip. Pets are allowed on my furniture as long as it is okay with you. I am comfortable giving pills or feeding a special diet.

A typical day
We will go for walks, play with toys, and throw frisbees/balls in the backyard for exercise, or if they are a more relaxed, low energy pup, we will relax on the couch and watch movies together and they will get lots of belly rubs.

I'm retired and home all day. I enjoy walking around the park and throwing a ball for our more energetic friends. I have a fenced in yard and a two bedroom home where your furbaby can relax but also have some fun in the yard or at the local park.
