Having grown up caring for horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, parrots, and exotic fish, I feel comfortable with animals, enjoy interacting with them, and am experienced in caring for various pets. In addition to providing food and water and going for walks, I have experience grooming and bathing (dogs, cats, and horses) pets. I am experienced in administering oral medications. Having arranged for a housesitter for my home during work-related trips, I also can relate to homeowners' concerns for their home. With large dogs, I am willing to meet the dog and owner in advance to check for compatibility. I am experienced in caring for various dog breeds, including German Shepherd Dogs, Australian Shepherd Dogs, Jindo Dogs, Shetland Sheepdogs, Labrador Retrievers, Springer Spaniels, and Chihuahuas just to name a few.

A typical day
I will walk a dog in safe places near the home and can also play (e.g. throw ball or frisbee). I make it point to create positive experiences for the dog (e.g. petting, brushing, giving treats, etc.) to build trust.
