**As we also foster for a rescue and have adopted a (now 18 month old) Westphalian Dachsbracke, who absolutely loves other dogs!** We’ve taken care of many breeds of dogs, all of them since a pup, so had the fun of crate training. Also, especially with my last dog…senior care and management of multiple conditions was required. Found and identified two different cancers before they had chance to spread. A malignant melanoma and carcinoma within a month or so of each other, which I requested my vet to remove and send for biopsy. Both turned out to be malignant but an MRI displayed no spread. Huge relief, but that’s what happens when you stroke, hug and fuss over him…you detect any changes and act on them immediately! Our Alaskan Malamute, who recently passed away at the grand old age of eleven and a half, outliving his siblings by 18 months. As our house is was very quiet and missed canine company, so we’d like to meet some new doggies, allow their parents to relax knowing they are with an experienced, kind and loving human. A nice big, secure garden, great walks nearby and also have a 7 seater SUV for trips out. I work from home and always have had my best friend with me in the office…about 12 feet from my kitchen and in the garden. Went on walks before and after work, at lunchtime or whenever I had some free time in the day (which was a lot!). Dogs always take the lead and I take my cue from them (pun intended!). Your dog is going to get plenty of attention, as I am home during the day and on evenings/weekends, my dog loving children will also play with the fur babies. They were used to a 55kg pack dog, so they definitely know how to behave! As we have a loving, playful little girl doggo…there will be plenty of fun to be had! In short, being spoilt by a canine loving family is on the cards! Prior to any new bookings, an introduction will be undertaken with the dogs and discussions around likes/dislikes and any medical/vital information shared. I work from home and have lots of time for walks, playtime and making sure your dog has lots of fun. If he or she want to snooze me when I work…snoring doesn’t bother me! It will be a single booking in our safe, secure home and garden. Our resident dog is friendly and loves the company of other doggos. There will be no mixing of other bookings…so your pooches will have our full care and attention.
