Hello there! I’m John, and it’s great to e-meet you! I do things a little differently as a Rover Sitter because I only board dogs from the same owner at any time, so you can be sure your pet will receive all the attention and 5 star care that they deserve even if they are reactive to other pets. I work from home full time, so I am home all day to look after them. I do not have any pets, children, or roommates. Dogs and a lot of cats always seem to take a liking to me right away. I think because I have a tendency for a more positive personality disposition that they pick up on and like about me. A few of my clients have even mentioned how easily their dogs take to staying with me in my reviews, so be sure to check them out. You can trust me with your pet because I consider them one of my personal responsibilities, so I anticipate potentially negative outcomes and situations and take appropriate steps to avoid them before they become a problem.

John was great with Hennessy, and really seems to like dogs. He's very personable and attentative. He kept me up to date on how things were going with her, and she seemed to take to him pretty well. I would use him again if needed.
Dogs seemed well cared for. They even took a lap back to say a final goodbye before getting in the car.
John dropped in to check on my cat while I was away from him for the first time. He was very diligent about following instructions, wrote up excellent notes on the visit, and was good about communicating with me. I was comfortable that my cat was in good hands!
John was great! Really communicative, flexible, and we could tell our pup had a great time! Would definitely book with John again!

Please let me know the preferred number of walks and distances, how they are to be fed and when and what amounts of any medications they are taking and when. I appreciate when owner’s print out or write down care instructions at drop off. 📝

I rely on pet owner’s to know their pets’ typical temperament and to communicate openly about their behavior to ensure a comfortable stay for the pet and peace of mind for clients. Before confirming any of my offered services, owners should inform me of any behavior that could affect my neighbors’ peaceful enjoyment of their homes and especially anyone’s health or safety. If a dog suffers from separation anxiety, consult their vet about short-term medication. Hemp products and over-the-counter ‘pheromones’ are often ineffective and potentially harmful.
A typical day
In addition to looking after pets, I also enjoy working with their owners. Timely communication with pet owners is important for fulfilling their pets’ needs and requirements, so I am sure to keep you apprised of their well-being through regular messages and pictures of our adventures together. I respond promptly to 100% of messages received from clients within minutes. Additionally, during stays under my care, picture updates are always provided. I am equally responsive in addressing any concerns or inquiries you may have, both prior to, during, and subsequent to your pet’s time with me. ?

Availability
I work from home full time, so your pet will only be alone for short 2 to 3 hours periods. I can provide 24/7 care stays for a limited number of nights. I provide walks 4 to 5 times a day unless you request more.
