Pet care experience
We have been around dogs our entire lives and honestly can't imagine life without them! We will provide your dog with the care and love necessary to keep them safe and happy at all times! Our home is located on a large 1.25 acre, quiet wooded lot in the Waxhaw area. We have a huge fenced in backyard that we know your pup will love exploring, running around, and playing in... just ask our dogs! We have 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback mix rescues that absolutely LOVE playing with other dogs... so if your dog does too, you can be sure that he/she will likely be tuckered out at the end of each day! We also go on frequent long walks. Don't worry, there's plenty of lazy time and attention given during playtime breaks and naps! If your dog is more laid back that's totally fine too, he/she will love lounging around on our large back deck and listening to the sounds of nature (our house is secluded and backs up to a creek and 100+ acres of woods beyond our fence). The inside of our home is clean, safe, and has a large open floor plan. **Please note that we’re only currently only accepting crate trained dogs (dogs that go in a crate when we leave the house to run errands etc. and to sleep in at night). We will provide you with as many (or as few) updates as you wish while your dog stays with us. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or if you would like any additional information. Max had a great time with John and his family. They have huge backyard, send pics and updates everyday, took him for walks and threw the ball and frisbee for him. He also had fun playing with their dog Mazy. I will definitely use John again.
John took great care of Sadie while we traveled for the Thanksgiving holiday! She had lots of fun playing with Maize in their huge yard, and he sent loads of pictures of her while we were gone! He even helped me figure out how to adjust a new harness we recently purchased so it fit her correctly.
John took great care of our dog while we were on vacation. He sent regular pictures and updates - communication overall was excellent - and it was clear that Luna was being well taken care of. She got lots of exercise in the large yard playing with Maize as well as daily walks. It was great to know that she was so happy and well taken care of. We have already booked to use John in the future and highly recommend!
John sent tons of awesome pictures of our doggo and made sure that he was at home! He made sure to give him plenty of exercise and attention, as well as took him on walks and car rides (his favorite!) Highly reccomend for short or long term boarding with your fur-ever friend ?

We maintain a very clean home on the inside as well with several dog beds in various places throughout so your pup will always have somewhere comfortable to relax.

I work from home so your pet will always have someone here with them. We will stimulate your dog both mentally and physically each day. We love playing in our back yard, going on long walks, and visiting the greenway just down the road which has miles of wooded trails to hike.

Availability
**DROP OFF / PICK UP TIMES: As per Rover's guidelines, each overnight stay is good for up to 24 hours of care. For example, on drop off day if you arrive at 11:00 AM you would need to arrive by 11:00 AM on pickup day to get your pup. Late pickups are subject to the "doggy daycare" rate added to your total.
