Pet care experience
Hi, I’m John Patino a passionate dog lover. I grew up around many people who’ve had dogs and have helped them care for them. I haven’t had the fortune of owning a dog due to family matters but still have much experience with them. My family is from Ecuador where we have 5 dogs, I’ve also owned two bunnies when I was 12. I currently work at Petsmart in East Hanover where I will be training to become a dog trainer to elevate my knowledge and care for your furry friend. At Petsmart I help care for the dogs that stay at the facility by feeding, cleaning, and giving the dog their needed exercise. This has also giving me more experience with a variety of breeds of different sizes. I personally love Rottweiler and plan on getting one after moving out, it’s been a dream of mine since I was 7 that I can’t wait to accomplish. My goal is to provide you the best service and provide your companion with unforgettable memories.

I have a fairly large house with a big back yard that is partially fenced. The park “Simons” is located right beyond my backyard as well so plenty of space for your animal. There are many wooded trails, paths and parks in the area to explore and give your partner a more stimulating experience. I have means of transport as well if your dog likes car rides we could take them on a short car ride before arriving to the trail!

How is your dog on a leash? Is your dog friendly to people and/or dog/animal? Any medical problems? Does your dog bite? If possible provide your typical potty schedule? Is there anything your dog doesn’t like on walks or during interactions?
A typical day
I have a big park near my house where I can let the dog explore new smells and enough space to safely play with them as well. Long walks through wooded trails nearby as well.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule working part time currently. I am an early riser and tend to be up around 5:00 am from Monday - Wednesday and Saturday. I’m also available a majority of afternoons except for Saturday and some Wednesday.
