Pet care experience
I grew up in a family of animal lovers. I've been through puppy training classes with numerous pets, and private training classes with large dogs. Over the last 5 years my wife, and I have fostered and found homes for 17 foster dogs through a local rescue. I enjoy jogging and would work out a plan if your dog needs more exercise than just a walk! I do video work part time, the rest of the time I'm home with our dogs. We enjoy park visits, coffee shop runs, and roaming around the neighborhood visiting with our neighbor dog friends. I have a partially enclosed yard, so I keep dogs on leash for potty breaks. We live in downtown La Mesa, so we usually go on plenty of walks to keep it interesting!

John is a fantastic caregiver and is terrific with dogs. He and his wife were my dog's foster family before I adopted her. She always has a great time in his care and loves hanging out with his 2 dogs. I get tons of photo updates and videos of my dog having a great time. I get hilarious candid pics and magazine-worthy shots in front of the fireplace with a plethora of toys and comfy beds & blankies. My dog gets lots of walks and sometimes special songs just for her, lol. I would recommend John to anyone for his dedicated, heartfelt and upbeat approach to caring for dogs.
My dog and I both highly approve of John! Having a blind doggo, I am a little picky when it comes to trusting someone to care for my dog. From the very beginning, I was super impressed by John’s thoroughness and professionalism. He took extra time to make sure he knew exactly how to care for my dog- learning my dog’s unique commands, schedule, socialization preferences, what he can/can’t have for treats and toys, etc. John even sends me pictures/updates, and always gives me a full download of their time together when I get home. It is very evident that John genuinely loves caring for animals, he is super observant and his experience certainly shows in his ability to tune into my dog’s behaviors and respond accordingly. The bond he has built with my dog is truly awesome. We are very fortunate to have him!
John watches my fur babies frequently and does an outstanding job! He has a great caring demeanor with animals and they get excited when they see him! I can rest assured knowing he is watching them and he has a great relationship with them. He has known them for years and I will continue to leave them in his care when I’m out of town working. It makes sense that he wants to work with other dogs as he is a natural at it!

A typical day
I do daily jogs, any dog is welcome to join if owner wants. Non stop fun with my dogs in a controlled situation. Ball fetching, outings, dog pool, snacks, and exercise all through the day!
