Pet care experience
I was the initial financial investor of PetCru here in Austin. I additionally spent much of my time driving from Leander to Round Rock to Steiner Ranch to do in-home visits. I currently own Thomas, the Ginger cat, or he owns me. He's fine with other cats that are friendly or skittish but not aggressive. And if your dog is good with cats (or just ignores them), Thomas sits on his window perch and supervises.
Reviews
John took great care of my cat Reba while I was out of town. Reba seemed totally content when I returned and my apartment was just as I had left it. John sent many pictures and took the time to brush her with a special glove. John genuinely likes cats and it looks like they had a good time together.
John is someone who I know is dependable, kind, and thoughtful and those personal qualities carry over into how he cares for animals. He truly loves all animals and is very good with them. He’s treated my two cats as well as he treats his own when he’s watched them. He’s even watched them for long stretches over two weeks and remembered their habits and preferences and made sure to care for them being mindful of those and their routine, and they were at very at ease and happy around him even with me being gone.

I do not have a fenced yard. I have a decent yard right outside my front door with trees, grass, and all the trimmings. We have a gated tennis court. Many people use that for letting dogs run around and play :-)

Information John M. would like to know about your pet
If boarding, I need to know if the puppers gets along with cats or will at least ignore one. I don't want my cat to spend the day and night hiding in my closet. Aside from that, you can tell me everything upon meeting. I suggest bringing tiny training treats. I always have a dog walk in stride with me and reward good behavior. I won't just randomly feed a dog treats, however. So no need to worry about that. We'll have fun. :-)
A typical day
I walk 2-3 times a day, so it would be awesome to have a companion. My cat doesn't quite keep up (although he does love exploring within 25 feet of my building, and only if I'm alongside him). We have a closed-off tennis court that is used more for running around/playing with dogs than actual tennis. Just outside my complex, there is a large grass area lightly sprinkled with trees here and there. We'll have fun. :-)

Availability
I am currently building three companies/projects simultaneously. I work from home. Pet care fits in perfectly because I take a break every two to three hours, go for a long walk, and then switch mindsets. I'd only take dogs on a walk before sunrise or after sunset.
