We are a family that would love to have a dog in the near future, but are not ready to take the leap quite yet. We have a lot of love and attention to give. We live on 5 acres in Strafford, NH, so there is plenty of room to run. We like to go on hikes and go swimming in Bow Lake. We also like to just hang out in the yard. I have had dogs all growing up. Most recently, my wife and I raised 2 dogs from puppies to 10 years old. One was a border collie mix and the other was a Rottweiler mix. They passed on shortly after our second daughter was born. We have been without dogs for 6 years, but have been very busy trying to stay afloat with 3 kids. We are finally in a position to be able to care for dogs again. Dogs must be good with kids and cats.
