Pet care experience
I have lived with dog(s) my entire life including big male German Sheppard, Lhasa Apso-mix, Shelty-mix, ToyFox❤️, Teddy-mix, Terrier-mix. Long term foster for male Chihuahua (recently found forever home). Short term care (informally) for Male Doberman, Terrier-Mix and others. Friend that uses Rover (for cat) highly recommended it to me. Good size yard with doggy door and grassy field across the street for afternoon walks. The K9 host is 15lb male Terrier-mix named SlimJim.

John was great to work with, I had to arrive later than expected and he was very flexible. Freya and Linus seemed right at home and came back dead dog tired. I would use John again if we are in the area.
We have used John's services twice now and have booked him again for an overnight stay. We have 2 dogs (very spoiled), and they seem to really like him and love his big backyard too. He sent us pictures and a cute video and communicates well. Thanks John!

A typical day
Big part of getting pampered during the stay is getting comfy in the new surroundings and feeling safe. Duties might include: 1. Patrolling the back yard perimeter for rouge squirrels. 2. Locating that special spot and maybe giving it a try. 3. Getting to know host SlimJim 4. Checking out the toy selection 5. Trying out the doggie door 6. Finding our own spot to chill inside. 7. later in the day we like a nice romp through the big grassy field at the park. Or maybe a long walk down on the river walk trail.

Availability
Currently available for weekend overnights. Generally home by noon Friday for drop offs. I work part time mornings M-F and host only 1 guest on those days. I have a mobile groomer available, happy to coordinate service and put you in touch.
