Pet care experience
I'm just a guy who loves dogs. Ever since I was a boy, I’ve loved and appreciated the authenticity that comes with dogs. Whether they want to curl up on the couch all day or have endless zoomies, I know what a dog wants to do relatively quickly and I’m happy to acquiesce to it. I personally like to view your dogs stay at my home as a vacation for them. I’ve been around dogs since a child and so has my partner. People who love me have said that I’m perfect for dog watching because I have more burst of energy than the average and riling up your dog to play is a great way to use that energy as an outlet 🤣. But I also am a complete sucker for any dog that wants to cuddle. Even the big ones who like to think they’re still puppies. I personally feel confident that there’s not a dog that I can’t vibe with. Dogs are great readers of energy and I pride myself on my connection with them.

Thank you, John and Nakia, for your help at the last minute to take my dog in. I was a little scared to leave him with anyone...plus someone who had a dog. I did not know how Ace would act around the other dog. Ace had a great time. John sent me videos showing Ace playing. It put me at ease. Ace did not want to leave. Thanks again, John and Nakia!!
John was great! He provided a very welcoming and warm environment for my baby. This was the very first time I’ve used this service and John made me feel at ease. He was easy to communicate with, responded to any questions or comments I made very quickly and made sure I knew what was going on with my fur baby several times a day. I will definitely be using John anytime I need to go out of town. I will recommend John to anyone who needs care for their fur baby.

A typical day
I get the zoomies just like dogs do so I’m prone to impulsively stop what I’m doing and play with my dogs long enough to get one of us out of breathe. If my dogs aren’t the playing type, I love a scenic walk as well. For the very athletic dogs, I’m within walking distance to the Greenway trail. Bring your dogs favorite toys as well!

Availability
I work from remotely, and my partner is currently in nursing school so there is almost no time when one of us is not home. I personally feel from experience that a tired and stimulated is a happy dog. Depending on your dog, that can be playing with toys, brisk walks, or maybe your dog just wants to lay up all day. Whatever it is, your dogs specific wants and needs will be catered to with our full attention.
