Caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. Since 2019, I’ve enjoyed helping families through Rover, making sure their pets are safe, happy, and loved while they’re away. One of my most rewarding experiences was with my dog, Zach, a sweet maltipoo who lived to 15.5 years. He needed oral medication multiple times a day, so I learned to balance routine and patience to keep him healthy and comfortable. I also help care for Frank, my parents’ big yellow lab, who has been full of energy and personality since he was a puppy in 2015. Long walks, playtime, and managing his bursts of excitement have taught me how to handle even the most energetic dogs. I look forward to meeting your pets and giving them the love and attention they deserve!

I prefer to do a quick meet and greet before my first visit alone with pets. For house/pet sitting, you can count on me to take care of whatever you need, changing litter boxes, taking in mail and making sure your pets have the best experience with me!
Ratings and reviews
John was great! He watched our two big dogs at our house for 10 nights and took good care of them and the house. He sent timely updates to us, and fed and walked them according to their schedule. They seemed happy and relaxed with him when we returned. We hope to book with him again!

John was professional, easy to communicate with and took great care of my cat Peanut. He also took great care of my home and did everything I requested (trash day, letting me know when landscaping was at the house, etc). I would definitely use John again!
John is fantastic! He is very communicative and responsive, took great care of our fairly high needs dog for a week (including managing her medication schedule), and left our home clean and tidy. We would absolutely trust him with our puppy again.

Schedule
I work from home during the week, so you can expect your pets to get plenty of attention. I’m very flexible, but generally do morning walks between 7am-9am, and evening walks between 4pm-6pm.
