HOUSE/PET SITTING, PLEASE NOTE... Although I currently reside in Louisville (KY), I have house/pet sat in SW FL (Cape Coral and Venice), several times, over the years. I am trying to adjust my House/Pet Sitting service area to reflect my interest in spending even more time there (SW FL), but as you can see, my profile still shows my primary residence as Louisville. Rover does not enable me to make that more clear, OR to list a minimum number of days, for any services, but for house/pet sitting to make financial sense for me, the stay typically needs to cover a minimum of 6 or 7 days, depending on the exact circumstances. Please keep that in mind, if you would like to set up something. At the moment, if you just need coverage for something like a brief weekend, I'm afraid I'm not likely to be able to be of service. On the other hand, if you need even longer coverage, I do have that flexibility. ABOUT ME Up until 2019, I had two sweet 16 year-olds, a Boston Terrier, and a Beagle-Lab mix. Sadly, I had to put them both down, within months of each other. That pain was difficult to get over, but I have reached the point at which I understand there are other dogs out there who need love and attention. Since 2020, I have been a sitter, with Rover, and it's been even more fulfilling that I could have imagined. I can't express how meaningful it is, to be able to earn the trust of both you, the parents, as well as your sweet fur babies. There were many times, when I had to leave mine behind, for one reason or another. I was fortunate to have found a good sitter then, but it never completely erased those feelings of guilt. I want YOU to be able to leave yours with me, CONFIDENT that you have done your very best to ensure they are as happy as possible, in your absence, so you can enjoy your own travels or activities, with as little remorse as possible. I know it's real!
