As a former professional dog walker (I was a walker for Smart Paws in 2016), I can honestly say that John is a long-time friend and a wonderful pet owner. He dotes on his cat Dudley and takes wonderful care of him; he knows what pet owners care most about when it comes to their fur babies. John has always been great with other people's pets too. In particular, when John and I worked together on a political campaign, we used to have a couple that would volunteer on weekends and bring their 2 rescue dogs with them (the dogs had some separation anxiety). John happily allowed the dogs to join their owners, and he quickly befriended both dogs as well. Overall, John is thoughtful, experienced with caring for animals, and I think John would be a great pet sitter.

John is a great guy! Just as importantly, he is one of those people that has a very special connection with animals. Ellie (my Border Collie mix) absolutely loves John and gravitates to him in that very special way that only true dog lovers know. He has the ability to somehow not only excite dogs and make them happy, but also calm them down. I cannot imagine a better dog sitter/walker than John! Ellie and I strongly recommend Him!
