My wife and I had created a very successful side gig dog / house sitting in the Denver area. We ended up saving enough money to quit our jobs and travel for 16 months. During this time we were lucky enough to do dog sits in Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, New Zealand, and Chile. It was a great experience that left us with many new friends and a load of great memories. We are now back and are based out of Golden, CO. I have house sat and taken care of small dogs, large dogs, large puppies, cats, fish, geriatric dogs who need medication and special attention, and everything in between it seems. And at the end of the stay we have grown to love every single animal...and the owners weren't too bad either:) So think of me next time you need a reliable and responsible pet sitter with a ton of great references.
