I had my first dog when I was 8 yrs old. I learned to be responsible with the dog by feeding, watering, walking and playing with her. She lived for 18 years. I had 3 dogs over a span of 60 years. All of them lived long lives. I walked them in all kinds of weather. In recent years I have been dog and cat sitting for friends and their friends. Some of the jobs involved staying at their house and the last job the cat came to my house. One job at a friends house was 6 weeks while she was out of the country. I enjoy being around all types of animals. I've even had a horse at one time for my son. I would like the job because I really like being around dogs and cats or other animals. I would follow the clients instructions regarding their pets. PLEASE: make sure your pets are free from Fleas I would appreciate it, keeping my home free from fleas for my next clients and myself.
