Pet care experience
I had two different dogs growing up, one of which was my responsibility. I have been taking care of my sisters two dogs when she is gone for work. Growing up I pet sat over night for neighbors.

Leo had a great stay with John! I had some last-minute travel and John was so accommodating. I appreciated his attention to Leo's diet (it's a little complicated) and all the walks Leo got to take. Absolutely recommend and would book again!
John has helped me with my Wheaton Terrier for the last 11 years. He is accountable, responsible and loves dogs. He has taught my Bentley how to be off leash on the dog trails and even swim in the river. He cares for them as if they are his own. She loves being with him and knows its is always going to be a fun day.
John is a very responsible and loving pet person, and this certainly includes his love for pets. I have had John care for my two yellow labs in the past (they're a handful!) and he's done an amazing job and created a connection with both of them. He is such a responsible and kind person, and I've witnessed the love he has for his dog, my dogs, and any dogs we come across together. He would be an absolutely wonderful person for Rover!

I live in a 3 story house on a calm street. We have a fenced in backyard that has grass. The backyard also leads down to a public path that is perfect for walks. The interior of the house is an open concept and allows for ample roaming space as well as two comfortable couches if your dog likes taking naps :)

A typical day
I like to let dogs explore. Keeping them in the leash but letting them lead is my favorite. Walking through forest areas as well as by the lakes (picnic point vibes). I enjoy playing tug of war, fetch, and of course pets and cuddles.

I work from home M-F. I am up by 7 and finish work around 4:30. I have flexibility throughout the day and am able to go for walks and let the dog(s) out whenever need be.
