John was great!! My dog can have a hard time settling around strangers and unfamiliar areas but he did great with John! John provides me updates throughout the day which kept my mind at ease. Will absolutely be booking him again
John watched my two dogs this weekend and he was amazing! They both are anxious with strangers and they left looking well cared for and best friends with John. He sent plenty of updates and pictures and was very easy to communicate with. Will definitely come back again in the future

John was a wonderful host to our 2 pups! We were traveling to visit my parents so we didn’t have a chance to meet in person prior to the stay, and he was very reassuring of the love they would get over the thanksgiving holiday! They got to play outside, daily walks, and cuddled by the fire. Our senior dog had a few extra needs and John handled them all with ease. We would 100% use John in the future. Thank you so much!

Why am I the perfect fit to take care of your dog? I’m about to retire after a fulfilling 35-year career, and I’m excited to focus my time and energy on what I love most: caring for animals. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of raising two incredibly active dogs—a border collie for 12 years and a greyhound for 3. These experiences taught me the patience, attention, and care required to keep high-energy dogs happy, healthy, and engaged. I understand the unique needs of active dogs and how to create a safe and stimulating environment for them. My home is the perfect playground for your pup. With a quarter-acre yard—huge by city standards—your dog will have plenty of room to run, explore, and stretch their legs. The entire yard is fully fenced, giving them a secure space to play freely, while I keep a close eye on them. There is a pool, though it’s safely covered with a tarp from late September to mid-May, ensuring no unexpected dips! Whether your dog loves to run, fetch, or just enjoy some outdoor fun, I’m confident that my experience, spacious yard, and dedication to pet care will give your dog the care and attention they deserve.
