In The Dog House provides a 1-to-1 or 1-to-2, premium service for dog care only. We are a couple who love our canine furry friends. I've had dogs in my life for over forty years. If it wasn't for our regular travel we would have our own Scotties or West Highland Whites in an instant. The next best thing is to look after any breed from other pet owners so we were delighted to hear of Rover. We have a large flat perfect for dogs of any size, here in El Born, right in the downtown area of the city and very close to the Ciutadella Park. We'd love to hear from you if you need a dog sitter. I am a freelancer and I work from home everyday. My partner is a teacher.

Muchas gracias John por cuidar tan bien de Luna, ha sido un placer conocerte y seguro que repetiremos. Contacté con John y en seguida me respondió. Teníamos una urgencia y debía buscar un cuidador para Luna en 12h. Por suerte a través de @rover contacté con John y nos coordinamos para que Luna pudiese estar al dia siguiente durante todo el día con él. Es un placer encontrar a personas que aman tanto a los perros y que cuidan del tuyo con tanto como lo harías tú.
Buenísima experiència. Era la primera vez que dejábamos a nuestra perra con alguien que no conocía y no podíamos haber tenido más suerte. John y Sònia conectaron desde el primer momento con ella (y con nosotros) y nos dejaron muy tranquilos cuando nos fuimos, sabiendo que estaba en muy buenas manos. Nos mandaron fotos de nuestra perra durante les estancia, la llevaron de paseo a una playa y cuando volvimos a recogerla un poco más y se quiere quedar con ellos ;) ! Una experiència de 10 y sin duda volveremos a repetir si lo necesitamos en un futuro.
Estamos muy agradecidos con John! Era la primera vez que dejamos a nuestra perra con otra persona, pero desde el primer momento nos dejó muy tranquilos y nos fue actualizando de como estaba con mensajes y fotos. Sin duda, repetiríamos!
John was an amazing caretaker for Tucker. He was very flexible, communicative, and loving - Tucker truly enjoyed his time with John. Sent lots of pictures!

I have forty years experience with dogs having grown up with them and later owning my own when I lived in England. My dogs preferred fish, butcher's meat and premium biscuits and not tinned food. Please advise on any dietary requirements if you prefer specific food during their stay.
A typical day
It's access all areas in our 120 sq. metre flat in El Born. We overlook the pedestrianised Plaça Comerce so regular comfort breaks are easy. Longer walks then we have the beach, which is very close and Ciutadella Park.

I edit photographs and need a break from the screen every two hours. Dog walking fits with my schedule perfectly and the flat location lends itself perfectly to dog walking.
