Pet care experience
Since I was a child, my family and I have always had at least one dog of some sort in our home and that has continued for me personally. For the past year, I worked at the Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center (SPARC) in Southern California, where I cared for, fed, walked (sometimes over 10 miles a day), and cleaned up after numerous dogs and other animals. I am especially experienced with larger breeds, and I have some training experience after completing the Bound Angels training seminar this past March. I just genuinely enjoy the presence of animals and making sure they are well taken care of. I am currently in between jobs, and have a lot of spare time Right now. John was extremely understanding about the slightly different needs of a rescue dog. He was punctual, polite and seemed knowledgeable. His experience in rescue shelters is a great bonus. John was scheduled to leave a couple of hours before we were due home. Our dog had made no mess in the house. Our dog gets into mischief when he’s bored and restless, so no mess was a good sign that he was exercised and entertained plenty prior to John leaving. thanks John.
I met Avery years ago and he was so helpful taking care of my rescue dog Macanudo . Macanudo had several issues and Avery went overboard making sure all of his needs were met ! He is kind and caring and when I returned home Macanudo was at ease and loved being around Avery ! Would highly recommend him!
Great person to take care of your puppers. Mine is a rescue that was abandoned as a 4week old puppy so he has developed social issues being separated that young. He can be very difficult and John took amazing care and handled him with no issues for an entire month we were overseas. would recommend 10/10.
John and I were roommates for over a year. During this time I was able to see first-hand the level of love he had for these furry family members. He always made sure to apply the knowledge he'd absorb from working at a shelter, online and courses the shelter paid for him to attend. My dog was always fed, walked and loved on because that is just the type of person he is. If something were to ever happen to me, John would be the #1 person I would trust with caring for my dog in my absence. An example of just how wonderful John is with dogs was when one of the Shelter dogs by the name of "Serena," was diagnosed with kidney failure among other problems. John brought her to our apartment overnight and took her to the beach so that she could live her final days surrounded with love and attention. Without a doubt in my mind, I can say that your dog will be in the best of hands.
