Two School Teachers Walking Dogs
Pet care experience
My wife and I have cared for animals before and since we met. Together we've had many dogs and cats as pets. We treat them as if they are members of our family. Presently, we have three cats while caring for a couple strays. We do not have a dog currently, after losing Morgan (our most recent) a couple years ago, but would love to help walk and care for yours. In Morgan's final two years we were also boarding and caring full-time for my Brother-In-Law's dog while he was stationed in South Korea. Sadie required a few miles of walking per day and was a welcome part of our family. My wife and I are teachers who live in Downtown Lincolnton. Our late-afternoons/early-evenings and weekends are when we are available during the school year, but the summer months allow us many more available hours to include your dog(s) into our walking /pet care schedule. With the right dog (one who is comfortable around cats) we may be able to offer boarding. Otherwise, walking and drop-ins are what we are most available to help with. Our pets have always been welcomed inside our home.

We live in a very safe (low traffic) neighborhood at a Dead End. We allow our cats to go in and out without having to worry about their safety. Plus, all the neighbors know our pets. When we've had a dog in our home they were also safe outside as well under our supervision. We are quite familiar with the caretaking of animals within the home. We are comfortable feeding, walking, and cleaning up after pets. We have litter boxes in our basement that get cleaned daily.

We are open to dogs of all breeds that can be walked safely. We prefer to have a meet and greet ahead to ensure both parties are comfortable with the plan.
A typical day
Your dog will be walked in a safe environment or one of your choosing. He or she will be given plenty of focused and caring attention while under our care.

Availability
During weekends throughout the school year and our days off during the summer and holidays we have more availability to help with pet care. If there is a weekday evening we can help with during our workdays, please reach out to see if we can work something out.
