Dogs bring out the best in each and every one of us. They show us how to love, how to play, how to forgive, and how to explore. I love all our canine companions and know how they're part of our families, complete with unique needs and desires and personalities. I'm a huge proponent of treating them like friends - ones that need exercise and love and care! From the tiny ones we can pick up with one hand to our largest furry friends dragging us along, I am comfortable with and love playing with them all. Our dog has taught me how to be patient and react and respond to what they're trying to communicate to us, and feel like I've got a great intuition for their needs. I'm a quick and open communicator and would be glad to help out with any furry buddies.

John and Anja were absolutely great with our lab mix. Our dogs got along great, and they were very easy to work with to get everything set up. And like others have mentioned, our dog came home happy and tired. We would highly recommend them!
Our 1 year old had a blast. And I know this from both the videos and pics. But more specifically, that she was exhausted when she got in the car to go home. She was in great hands and we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
John was very easy to work with and took very good care of my dog. I brought home a very tired and happy dog. I will definitely book another stay in the future.
John and Anja were WONDERFUL!! We have a 7m old golden retriever puppy who has had a lot more energy these days than we've been able to exercise so I thought I'd check out Rover to see if someone was available to come play with him. J+A were quick to respond to the request, and great communicators. They took Hanks down the Centennial Trail and also to our little neighborhood doggy park. Hanks enjoyed his time with them so much that I'm pretty sure he'd have gone home with them if he had the chance! He is now tuckered out and asleep which lets me have a bit of relief for the day. Thank you again so so much! We will be booking again in the future! (:

I'd love to know their energy level, typical daily regimen, any behavioral issues or situations in which they respond or react in certain ways. Are they averse to small or big dogs, or male or female? Do they have favorite treats? Are they big time pullers that want to fly down the road, or slow explorers that would like to sniff everything. Do they tend to be alpha dogs or more submissive?
A typical day
Living on South Hill, I love taking pups through Manito or Comstock Parks, or around the pond at Cannon Hill. We'll explore the quiet neighborhoods or jog after squirrels, play in the piles of leaves or snowbanks, and bask in the sunshine. We have a large grassy yard that is entirely fenced in, so pups can wander around freely and we can play outside without worry!
