In the twenty years that I’ve been alive, I’ve never spent a day without a dog, cat, lizard, or snake with me. I’ve worked with numerous dogs and cats, as well as large constrictor snakes and lizards the size of small dogs. I’ve had to care for and medicate quite a few animals in my life, including caring for a 70-pound dog who was born both deaf and blind (I still have him; his name is Stitch).
