Reliable animal carer

Pet care experience

I grew up surrounded with dogs, cats and horses. It made me very passionate about animals. They give me a lot of energy and happiness. My most recent dog was a border collie/german shephard cross that I used to do obedience, agility and of course play a lot with but I do not have any animals at the moment. I miss having dogs around so it would be great to do find some dogs through Rover to take care of. Throughout my life I have done house/dog sitting, dog walking, volunteered in dog shelters and RSPCA. I have plenty of references available. I have studied Animal psychology and I have an international recognised certification in Animal Care that I completed whilst volunteering for RSPCA in their veterinary department. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Toby loved his stay with Johanna. We received plenty of photos & updates while he was with her. We were happy that he seemed relaxed with her, and have booked again.

I cannot recommend Johanna enough. Over New Year Johanna and her family looked after our wire-haired dachshund for two nights. Derek was looked after like he was their own; walked, played with and loved. Johanna kept in regular contact with updates and photos which was very much appreciated. Derek had a fabulous time and I will not hesitate asking Johanna to have him again. Thank you for taking such good care of Derek!

Excellent service from Hannah. She communicated with me all the time informing about anything related my dog. I’m so grateful for finding her as my dog didn’t have to be sent to a boarding kennel where he’d normally show signs of anxiety such as chewing his bed. He could enjoy his warm house and bed with the daily walk and care that we’d have given ourselves. I’d 100% recommend Hannah.

Johanna looked after our 2 Cocker Spaniels for us last week and we couldn’t have asked for better. We had lots of lovely updates on what they were up to, and photos which is very reassuring. She even had to go and buy more dog food because we miscalculated and couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend her.

When I home board, the dog is my main priority. I stick to the routines/rules the owner has shared with me to make the dog feel as comfortable as possible. I have a fenced garden for the dog to chill in but I would love to take the dog for walks in the area and to beach/forest etc.

Information Johanna F. would like to know about your pet

It is always good to know some general information about the dog. - If they have any behaviours etc which need special attention or care. - How the dog is on and off lead. - If they have any dietary requirements / medicines / allergies For boarding, house sits and day care - it is important that you tell me if there are any rules or routines you would like me to stick to while I care for your dog. It is also important for home boarding that the dog is okay with a child around.

A typical day

Home boarding, day care - I have a car so I could take the dog for a walk in the forest, at the beach or any of the different national trust areas as I am a member and visit different national trust sites often. I am also keen to explore new walks in the area where you live, if it is dog walking service you are after.
