Hello! My name is Johanna and I am a 24-year-old optimist and animal lover. I have 9 years of experience caring for pets from sitting for neighbors' animals. My family also had dogs growing up so I know how important it is to give them all around the clock quality care. I take pride in my communication skills and love sending photo updates of your pets when I stop by! I genuinely have a blast getting to spend time around animals and look forward to seeing them! Previously, I graduated from Rutgers University with a BFA (with a concentration in sculpture) and minors in psychology and art history. After graduation I did conservation work in the southwest and then worked at various craft and fine art institutions. I can't wait to meet your pets! I cannot host pets an my own house due to roommates with allergies, but I am happy to provide in home care. I have a car so travel is a non-issue. I am very punctual and a great communicator. I am comfortable with any size animal. If your pet has a designated routine I will stick to it to provide some normalcy and training for them!

Please let me know what your pet’s typical temperament is, as well as their age, size, and any dietary or medical specifics. I'd also like to know what a typical schedule looks like for them, and what type of training they have. I want to make sure to give them the type of treatment they are used to, so if they get a treat after every walk I will continue that pattern.
A typical day
I want your pet to get to exercise their body and their brain. Dogs need stimulation, they need to go outside and smell all the smells and run around in fun areas. I'm happy to go to their favorite park or walking area or take them to a new place if you want them to experience some new scenery! I'm also happy to play indoors with your smaller furry friends like cats and rabbits.

I am an artist and substitute teacher so I have a very flexible schedule! I work two days a week at Rutgers University but can still work those days before 8am and after 8pm.
