Johann and Shannon have been dog-owners for the past 4 years (basically immediately after getting married). Before that, Johann did dog&cat-sitting regularly throughout college and grad school as a way to make ends meet. We've trained both of our dogs and are used to working with pups and listening to their needs =) Johann and Shannon share duties. Shannon is in a PhD program which gives her a lot of flexibility during the hours Johann is at work, and Johann takes over duties once he is home to give Shannon a break. We have two dog parks very near us which is great, as well as a large backyard. On the weekends, we love to go hiking with pups We have two dogs of our own at home, both of which are used to being around other dogs and will be excited to meet your pup. We do have a spare bedroom that our dogs are very used to being in, as well as a large playpen set up in the corner of our bedroom, so separation is definitely possible if necessary. Finally, we have a nice backyard for all the pups to run and roll around in =)
