Pet care experience
I grew up with 4 Labs and 3 cats. I recently graduated from college and am working remotely and unfortunately am not allowed to have animals at the place I live now. I currently have been dog sitting several kinds of dogs and cats with my girlfriends who is also a Rover sitter. I have watched over animals ranging from a 2 month old Great Dane, to a 120 pound bulldog, and even Maine Coons. Part of the reason I am looking to dog sit is simply because I want to bring animals back into my life and there is no better way to do so than through Rover since I cannot have pets at my current living situation.

Joey stayed with our dog Brisa for two nights. We appreciated his good communication and also the photos that he sent showing her totally at ease and having a good time. He followed our instructions and left everything in great shape. Brisa was a happy girl because she got to go on some great walks. Thanks, Joey!
Joey did an excellent job watching our two dogs. He showed up/left on time, even went above and beyond. We hope to use his services again in the future.
Joey took care of our cat and dog in our home over Christmas, and they had such a great time with him! We felt completely confident that they were being well-cared-for while we were away, and were frequently reassured with sweet photos and text updates : ) Joey really went above and beyond to help us out when our travel plans changed, and was very responsive throughout his stay with our pets. We will definitely be booking him again in the future!
What a delight to be around. Our 10 month lab was excited the moment he met Joey (and I think we all know what a great judge of character dogs are). We really felt comfortable leaving our rambunctious pup in his good hands and we can’t wait for another opportunity to have him stay again very soon.

I pay close attention to what each and every animal requires in terms of care. I can follow any special instructions and always put the animals well being first. I am a softy for animals and I do whatever it takes to keep their tails wagging!
Information Joey W. would like to know about your pet
Information I would like to know ahead of time would be if there are any special instructions/medications/health problems/concerns that might drastically change how I play with them throughout the day. I had one dog who only 2 months old have a broken toe that we were supposed to keep an eye on. Knowing that ahead of time made it easy for us to keep a close eye on him to keep him from running around too much on it.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs, a typical day you might find me playing fetch with them, tug of war, running, letting them sniff around, and really anything I notice that your dog enjoys. If they would rather lay on my lap while I watch a movie or work, that works just as well too!

Availability
I work remotely and often will have availability to attend to any needs at any given time. I often would work remotely at locations my girlfriend was sitting at so that I could be the primary sitter while she had to work herself. My schedule is 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday but am available to sit during those times as long as I have access to wifi.
